One-to-one ABA Therapy
At The Missing Piece ABA Therapy, we provide both comprehensive and focused Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services designed to increase socially significant behaviors through individualized, data-dricven treatment. Our services support pediatric individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as those with co-occurring conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, genetic disorders, sleep disorders, and other developmental challenges. We provide all services in person in a clinical setting and in the community when appropriate.

Our goal is to help each child develop meaningful skills that promote independence, communication, learning, and overall quality of life. Treatment goals are tailored to the unique needs of each individual and may include:

• Toilet training and toileting readiness
• Personal hygiene skills, including tooth brushing and hand washing
• Communication and language development
• Social and peer interaction skills
• Attention and task engagement
• Fine and gross motor skill development
• Group participation and classroom readiness skills
• Reading, writing, and academic support skills
• Labeling and expressive language skills
• Following single-step and multi-step directions
• Independent living and daily living skills
• Reduction of challenging behaviors, including aggression, self-injury, elopement, property destruction, and other behaviors that may interfere with learning and safety
At The Missing Piece ABA Therapy, we are committed to helping every child reach their fullest potential through compassionate, evidence-based care and collaboration with families.
Parent Training
At The Missing Piece ABA Therapy, we recognize that parents and caregivers play a vital role in their child's success. To promote meaningful and lasting progress, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) meets regularly with parents and caregivers to review treatment progress, discuss goals, evaluate current strategies, and ensure that skills learned during therapy are successfully generalized across home, school, and community environments.

To support families, The Missing Piece ABA Therapy utilizes the Research Units in Behavioral Intervention (RUBI) Parent Training Program, an evidence-based curriculum designed to help caregivers better understand behavior, implement effective strategies, and confidently support their child's development outside of therapy sessions.
Topics commonly addressed during parent and caregiver training include:

• Individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Individualized Treatment Plans (ITPs)
• Antecedent-based intervention strategies
• Behavior management techniques
• Data collection and progress monitoring procedures
• Establishing and maintaining daily routines
• Sleep-related concerns and strategies
• Picky eating and mealtime challenges
• Visual schedules and environmental supports
• Communication and skill-building strategies
• Sibling relationships and family interactions
• Generalization and maintenance of newly acquired skills

We understand that every family faces unique challenges. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to request training and support in any area where they would like additional guidance. Our goal is to provide families with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to support their child's continued growth and success.
